Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Braule mobile application and the braule.com website (together, the "Service"), operated by Braule ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Braule is an experimental training companion for combat sports. It uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to estimate strikes, technique metrics and training feedback from your device's camera or from videos you choose to upload. The Service is provided free of charge and is under active development: features may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

3. AI accuracy — no guarantees

The Service relies on machine-learning models and automated analysis. AI makes mistakes. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Strike detection, punch counts, classifications, scores, metrics and any AI-generated feedback are estimates only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or entirely wrong;
• we make no warranty of accuracy, reliability or fitness for any purpose of any analysis produced by the Service;
• you will not rely on the Service's output for any decision affecting your health, safety, training load, competition preparation, or anything else of consequence;
• results may vary with lighting, camera position, clothing, stance, and other factors outside our control.

4. Not professional, medical or coaching advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, professional coaching, or fitness instruction. The Service is not a substitute for a qualified coach or physician. Consult a doctor before beginning any exercise program, and a qualified coach for technique instruction.

5. Assumption of risk

Combat sports and physical exercise are inherently dangerous and can result in injury or death. You train entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for ensuring your training environment is safe, your equipment is appropriate, and your physical condition permits exercise. We are not responsible for any injury, health condition, or property damage arising from your training, whether or not the Service was in use at the time.

6. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old; if under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian consents to your use.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to circumvent usage limits.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of videos and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process and analyze that content solely to provide the Service (including processing by the third-party AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy). You represent that you have the right to upload the content and that it does not violate anyone's rights. Do not upload content depicting other people without their consent. We may remove content at our discretion.

8. Free service; usage limits

The Service is currently free. Free usage is subject to limits (for example, a limited number of training sessions or video analyses) which we may change at any time. Displayed subscription tiers and prices are informational previews of planned offerings; no payment is collected in the app, and no paid entitlement arises until a purchase mechanism explicitly exists and you complete a purchase through it.

9. Acceptable use

• No reverse engineering, scraping, or abusing the Service or its APIs.
• No attempts to access other users' data or to bypass security or usage limits.
• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial training purposes.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA (INCLUDING TRAINING HISTORY AND VIDEOS) WILL NOT BE LOST.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH, FOR A FREE SERVICE, IS ZERO). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THAT CASE OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE SMALLEST AMOUNT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your training activities, or your violation of these Terms or of any third-party right.

14. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms at any time; the current version is always available at braule.com/terms with its effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
