Nick Galanti weighed in at 219lbs just 15 days before his fight at UFC Edmonton.

Galanti's Weight Gain Before the Fight
Nick Galanti weighed in at 219 pounds just 15 days prior to his fight at UFC Edmonton. After a quick knockout victory on Dana White's Contender Series less than two months ago, Galanti initially planned to relax and focus on helping his teammate Eric Nolan prepare for his upcoming match. However, his plans changed as he indulged in food while Nolan was cutting weight.
Short-Notice Fight Call
Galanti received a short-notice call for the fight, which disrupted his eating habits. He admitted to sneaking off for fast food while assisting Nolan. Upon returning home, he was surprised by his weight, realizing he had to lose 35 pounds in just over two weeks. Initially, he thought he had five weeks to prepare, but after checking the calendar, he realized the fight was much sooner than expected.
Future Plans After UFC Edmonton
After his victory against Julien Leblanc at UFC Edmonton, Galanti stated he has no plans to fight again this year. He expressed excitement about indulging in food post-fight, mentioning his preference for burgers and chicken sandwiches. Galanti emphasized his desire to progress steadily in his career, avoiding a rushed path in the UFC. He aims to improve with each fight and evolve as a fighter.
Galanti is not scheduled for any upcoming fights at this time.
