Josh Hokit Comments on Jake Paul's Fight List Exclusion

Hokit’s Rise in the Heavyweight Division

Josh Hokit, known as 'The Incredible Hok,' has made a name for himself as a top contender in the UFC heavyweight division this year, securing three consecutive victories that led to his first title shot. After a knockout win over Derrick Lewis in June, Hokit is set to face Ciryl Gane at UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden.

Hokit’s Reaction to Paul’s Fight List

Despite his recent success, Hokit was not included in Jake Paul's recent social media post outlining his 15-fight plans, which feature matchups against notable names like Tom Aspinall, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor, and Nate Diaz. In response, Hokit suggested that Paul, who has not fought since suffering a jaw injury against Anthony Joshua last December, is avoiding him. He expressed confidence in his ability to defeat Paul in a boxing match, claiming they are of similar size and age, which he believes would deter Paul from fighting him.

Paul’s Future Plans

Jake Paul is currently plotting his return to the ring but has not yet announced a date, venue, or opponent. Despite his setback against Joshua, he still aims to achieve a boxing world title in the future. Hokit, meanwhile, is focused on his upcoming title challenge against Gane on November 14.
